Should we date?.... help!?

so theres this guy I like & he likes me.. last night at a camping birthday we cuddled alittle and held hands and walked together and stuff I'm 14 by the way! & I like him! But I dont feel like a strong connection with him! I would date him but I dont know if we should ! will the connection get stronger if we date? Also I'm kinda frigid.. I've never actually kissed a guy & I'm scared I wont be comfortable enough with him! Help me!
