Is having a wedding in December or January a bad idea because of the frigid cold weather?
My boyfriend and I want to get married in a few years on the day we met which is January, 13th. We also considered getting married on December 31st because that was the day our long distance relationship ended after we were apart for a year and he came to live with my family and I. I just thought both dates would be really special because they hold significant sentimental value, but we live in Michigan and it is extremely cold in the winter. Do you still think it's a good idea? It doesn't get warm here until late April-early May. Should we just pick a random date in the summer? We're both college students too so a honeymoon would be much easier when we do not have school... What do you think?
