Fellow Christians, would you please explain these verses of scripture, the words of Jesus?

When you follow the teachings of the prophets, who teach in the ways of God, you will be persecuted by the evil doers (the ones who love power and money rather than other people). When you pull yourself away from the ecocomic and social system of the evil doers (the ones who love power and money rather than other people), you will be persecuted by them for your choice to follow God instead. Being persecuted does not make you a prophet nor should you ever believe you are God in human form. If you keep all these teachings, you will eventually be exalted as among the wise to teach others these teachings.
