Alternator for 2000 Mustang?

I don't know what's the biggest alternator you can get for that car, but if 130 amps is standard, with a 1200 watt amplifier you'll need 100 amps more than that. You could connect the amp to a separate battery which is connected to the car electrical system only for charging when the amp is turned off.
